My introduction to Reiki occurred in 2004 when my physician discovered goiters in my thyroid. Dissatisfied with the traditional remedies recommended by medical professionals I sought opinions from, I began to research alternative therapies and stumbled upon the Eastern healing technique know as Reiki. Considered a spiritual practice developed by Mikao Usui in 1922 on Mount Kurama, in Japan, Reiki techniques involve the moving of “healing energy” through the palms of the Reiki practitioner and into the body of the person receiving the healing energy.

My faith and confidence in Reiki soon proved to be fruitful and blessed—after a few sessions the goiter in my thyroid disappeared and I suffered no adverse side effects. Nor did the goiter ever return to my body. This “personal miracle” I experienced launched a new chapter in my life that would begin my pursuit to becoming a certified Reiki healer.

Following my receiving Reiki I attunement in September 2006, I received Reiki II certification at the Circle of Miracles school in Wycombe, PA in March 2007. Recommended by my Reiki Master Circle of Miracles proved to be an invaluable stepping stone for my next endeavor to becoming a Reiki Master myself. Later that September I accomplished my goal and earned the title Reiki Master-Practitioner, and continued on to becoming certified as a Reiki Master-Practitioner Teacher in April, 2008. Hannelore Goodwin, my Reiki Master, was attuned by Beth Gray, one of the 22 original Usui Reiki Masters, and is considered to be part of the lineage.

Finally, in November 2008, while studying under Doreen Virtue, PHD., I received certification in ATP, Angel Therapy Practitioner. This knowledge enables me to channel loving and divine messages from one's personal angels, through my readings, to promote personal growth and healing to my client.
